How is a community association manager different than a property manager?

HOA Manager

HOA Manager ready to help

A Community Association Manager oversees and directs all aspects of running the business, and has comprehensive knowledge of operations and applicable laws. This knowledge base is what separates them from a property manager and allows them to facilitate efficient and smooth operations for your community.

Property Managers spend most of their time dealing with tenants and reporting directly to the owner of a unit. Their responsibilities include collecting rent, showing vacant units, and arranging repairs for items inside the unit. Their main focus is to ensure that the maximum number of properties are rented with the highest possible revenues.

Conversely, Community Association Managers work for the Board and the homeowners, and focus on developing and executing budgets, presenting financial reports to the Board, performing site inspections, enforcing rules and regulations, managing dispute resolutions, and facilitating common area maintenance.
