What happens if I do not pay my association dues?

The functioning of the association depends on the members paying their dues in a timely manner. The dues, or regular assessments, for most associations are due on the 1st and late on the 15th of every month. The CC&Rs allow the association to assess late fees, add interest, add a lien on the property, and foreclose on the property if necessary.
